How I Review

A few Notes on the formula I use to review.

Part One is Packaging.

Everyone is a sucker for great packaging, and I am no exception. This will not usually factor in much toward the final verdict, but issues with packaging is always something I want to know when looking up lipstick reviews.

Part Two is Color.

How does the color stack up? Is it as vibrant as it was in the tube (or bottle)? How does it look with my skin tone? This does factor into the final verdict. If a lipstick is a bold red in the tube but goes onto the lips as a week sheer pink, it's going to count. Basically I'm looking to see if the color is whatever that company promised me it would be.

Part Three is Formula.

This is probably the most important piece, in my opinion. I will look at how it feels on the lips, how to stays on the lips, how often I would have to reapply, how it feels when I do have to re-apply, and how much does it transfer. These are the things that I worry about when buying a lipstick. If there are any other things you want to know about when I review them, just throw it in a comment below and I will incorporate it into my reviews.

Thanks!
